Baking soda lifts dirt off surfaces and is gently abrasive. Thyme is strongly disinfectant and lemon bleaching. Combined they are a great mould killer.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup salt
- 15 drops thyme EO
- 15 drops lemon EO
- 15g ground dried thyme leaves
- 2 cups baking soda
Method:
Mill all the ingredients together.
Sprinkle onto a damp cloth to clean bath rings, food deposits from the sink…
You can also mix a little powder with an equal amount of water to form a paste that you can apply on mouldy bathroom tiles. Leave it for at least a few hours, regularly spraying a mixture of white vinegar and water to the paste does not totally dry out.
Scrub with a sponge or a brush. Rinse well with water. Scrub again and rinse well again. Baking soda tends to leave white marks on some tiles, especially mat darkish tiles.
