It's a powerful blend of herbs hand-blended to sooth and facilitate digestion. The intense taste of refreshing peppermint and the hint of anise flavour are the best after a meal and at any time of the day. Try it as an ice-tea!

What's in it?

Organic Peppermint 

Peppermint is a good source of manganese, copper, and vitamin C but Peppermint is more famously know for its abilities to relieve nausea, sooth upset stomach and aid in digestion. It is also widely used to treat symptoms of the common cold.

Lovage

Lovage was used for many hundreds of years to ease stomach-related pain (anti-inflammatory) and chest complaints (expectorant). It has also been used as “irrigation therapy” for pain and inflammation of the urinary tract, for prevention of kidney stones, and to flush out toxins.

Not recommended during pregnancy or for people with kidney issues.

Organic Ginger

This very special ginger is steam sterilised to preserve freshness and taste. Originally from Asia, ginger has been used for its medicinal purposes for nearly 2,000 years by various cultures. It contains high levels of Vitamin C, magnesium and other minerals. When it comes to digestion Ginger reigns supreme as the go to spice for almost all digestive complaints. Ginger contains many natural enzymes that improve digestion and the absorption of nutrients.

Organic Star Anise

Star anise has been useful in the medical realm for treating a variety of fungal, bacterial and viral infections.

Many antioxidants occur naturally in plants, and star anise shown to have 13 to 25 highly active compounds. It can also aid in digestion and reduce bloating. 

Tea time

Infuse 1 or 2 heaped teaspoons in water heated at 90°c, for 4-6 minutes.

Whole leaves take longer to infuse but it is definitively worth it!

Tips

Crush or grind the herbs prior to use.

Make sure that all ingredients are well mixed. Lighter particles and powders tend to sink at the bottom of the packet.

Do not leave herbs to steep in water as this may result in a slightly bitter infusion.
