Black Verbena

All in simplicity Black Verbena is a light whole-leaf black tea with strong citrus notes.

What's in it?

Organic Direct-trade Assam black tea

Organic and handcrafted this whole leaf tea is nothing like the tea dust you find in teabags. 

Robust with chocolate notes, a dry finish and a lightly sweet aftertaste.

This tea was grown by Prithvi Group of Small Tea Growers, a tea farmer's cooperative in Dibrugarh area. 

Lemongrass

Lemongrass has been used for hundreds of years for both culinary and medicinal purposes. It has strong anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties, contains many antioxidant minerals and vitamins.

Organic Lemon Verbena

Lemon Verbena soothes the mind and facilitates digestion. It can boost the immune system and some studies have linked it to an increased rate of fat-burning, reduced joint pain and improved digestion.

Tea time

Infuse 1 or 2 heaped teaspoons in water heated at 90-100°c, for 8 minutes.

Whole leaves take longer to infuse but it is definitively worth it!

Tips

Crush or grind the herbs prior to use.

Make sure that all ingredients are well mixed. Lighter particles and powders tend to sink at the bottom of the packet.

Do not leave herbs to steep in water as this may result in a slightly bitter infusion.
