Caffeine-free
The deep red colour of this potion will enchant you. Its intense Hibiscus flavour is balanced with sharp lemony notes. A delight for the eyes and taste buds.
What's in it?Rosehips
One of nature’s richest sources of vitamin C, Rosehips have been used for centuries to combat infections such as coughs, colds, flu and respiratory conditions. Rosehips also contain many important antioxidants – plant chemicals that are naturally anti-inflammatory, shield immune cells from environmental damage and encourage the production of white blood cells.
Organic Hibiscus Flowers
The antioxidant properties of Hibiscus can protect the liver. A refreshing cup of Hibiscus tea can help to flush and cleanse the liver.
Herbs that are good for the liver tend to also benefit the kidneys, and Hibiscus is no different in this respect. Hibiscus tea has also been shown to have diuretic properties. Diuretics help to stimulate the kidneys by allowing urine to be passed more frequently and in greater quantity. This helps to cleanse the kidneys and can prevent water retention.
Lemon peels
Did you know lemon peel contains 5 to 10 times more vitamins than lemon itself?
Lemon peel contains a list of vitamin, mineral and fibre like calcium, potassium and Vitamin C, which gives your body a nutritional boost. Lemon peels also have some healthy enzymes, which help us to live a healthier life.
Tea time
Infuse 1 heaped teaspoon in water heated at 90°c, for 5 minutes. The longer you infuse it for, the deeper the colour so is the flavour! Discover how you prefer it, refreshing and subtle (light pink) or deep and intense (dark red).
Whole leaves take longer to infuse but it is definitively worth it!
Tips
Crush or grind the herbs prior to use.
Make sure that all ingredients are well mixed. Lighter particles and powders tend to sink at the bottom of the packet.
Do not leave herbs to steep in water as this may result in a slightly bitter infusion.
