I don't drink much black tea but Kick up the Bum is one of my favourites, rich in lemongrass and orange peel, it has a strong citrusy flavour without being too sharp.

What's in it?

Organic Direct-trade Assam Black tea

Organic and handcrafted this whole leaf tea is nothing like the tea dust you often get when buying black tea. Robust with chocolate notes, a dry finish and a light sweet aftertaste.

This tea was grown by Prithvi Group of Small Tea Growers, a tea farmer's cooperative in Dibrugarh area.

Orange peel

Oranges are juicy, sweet citrus fruits known for being high in vitamin C. It’s perhaps less well known that orange peels are also rich in several nutrients, including fibre, vitamin C, calcium and plant compounds like polyphenols.

Studies show that diets high in vitamin C and fibre benefit heart and digestive health and may protect against certain types of cancer.

Orange peel also contains good amounts of provitamin A, folate, riboflavin, thiamine, vitamin B6, and calcium.

Plus, it’s rich in plant compounds called polyphenols, which may help prevent and manage many chronic conditions, such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, and Alzheimer’s.
