What's in it?

Organic Direct-trade Assam Green tea

Hand-rolled, small-scale tea growers from Assam put a great effort into using only organic and traditional methods to make this high-quality tea, naturally low in caffeine.

By buying this blend you support Assamese tea growers!

Gingko

Chinese medicine uses Gingko as a cardio-tonic, to maintain normal cholesterol level and to improve cerebral functions. As an adaptogen, it helps control the production of stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol. It can also help reduce the frequency and severity of migraines, by dilating the blood vessels and increasing the blood flow in the brain.

Organic Peppermint

Peppermint is a good source of manganese, copper, and vitamin C. Peppermint can soothe an upset stomach and aid in digestion. It is also widely used to treat symptoms of the common cold. It is invigorating, can help get rid of headaches, congestion and so much more!

Gotu Kola

Gotu Kola has been used by monks and Yogis of the Far East for centuries as a means to enhance their concentration during meditation. In Chinese and Indian Ayurvedic medicine it also plays an important role in helping memory loss and fighting ailments of the mind.

Organic Maté

Maté is the South American equivalent of Coffee or Tea, however, its consumption is far more ceremonious. Maté trees contain 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, abundant antioxidants and naturally occurring caffeine. The dried leaves make an excellent and stimulating drink.

Organic Spearmint

Spearmint contains vitamins, antioxidants, and vital nutrients. It has very similar benefits to peppermint such as improving digestion and circulation, reducing pain, eliminating inflammation and balancing hormones.

Tea time

Infuse 1 or 2 heaped teaspoons in water heated at 80-90°c, for 5 minutes.

Whole leaves take longer to infuse but it is definitively worth it!

Tips

Crush or grind the herbs prior to use.

Make sure that all ingredients are well mixed. Lighter particles and powders tend to sink at the bottom of the packet.

Do not leave herbs to steep in water as this may result in a slightly bitter infusion.
