What's in it?
Did you know lemon peel contains 5 to 10 times more vitamins than lemon itself?
Lemon peel contains a list of vitamin, mineral and fibre like calcium, potassium and Vitamin C, which gives your body a nutritional boost. Lemon peels also have some healthy enzymes, which help us to live a healthier life.
Dandelion supports the detoxification and cleansing of the digestive tract, especially from the effects of overconsumption of fatty foods, coffee and prescription medicines. Known as a “bitter tonic”, Dandelion facilitates protein synthesis, liver and kidney detoxification, enzyme activity, healthy skin, hair and nails.
Dandelion tea is contraindicated with irritable conditions of the bowels. May also lower blood sugar.
Organic Oat Straw
Oat straw tea is believed to be a natural stimulant and brain booster. It has a high nutritional value and various therapeutic uses. Rich in phytonutrients and fibre, it may improve digestion, relieve stress and energise your body naturally. Plus, it's an excellent source of calcium, leading to stronger bones and teeth.
Originally from Asia, ginger has been used for its medicinal purposes for nearly 2,000 years by various cultures. It contains high levels of Vitamin C, magnesium and other minerals.
Infuse 1 or 2 heaped teaspoons in water heated at 90°c, for 5-8 minutes.
Whole leaves take longer to infuse but it is definitively worth it!
Crush or grind the herbs prior to use.
Make sure that all ingredients are well mixed. Lighter particles and powders tend to sink at the bottom of the packet.
Do not leave herbs to steep in water as this may result in a slightly bitter infusion.
